Scope 1 Emissions in 60 Seconds
When organisations measure their carbon footprint, emissions are grouped into three “scopes”.
Scope 1 is the simplest: direct emissions from sources you own or control.
Examples include:
Fuel burned in company vehicles
Gas used for heating your buildings
On-site machinery powered by fossil fuels
